LOVE IS THE ONLY POWER

I usually have a smile on my face, a calm and positive composure and an ongoing love affair with the Divine.  Many of us genuinely feel this way.  Looking at us no one would know how concerned we are for the life of the planet and the planet itself.  We live as if everything is okay; it is not.  I realize that I have chosen denial to hide my sorrow for what is to come.  Large numbers of us have experienced intuitive visions and dreams of changes that will occur on earth altering, destroying and changing what is known to the unknown.  It is common  for humans to feel that they are invincible and that disruptions that forever change what is considered normal will not happen during our life time or if they actually do, they won't happen to us.

The ancient teachings speak of cosmic cycles.  We who live currently on earth are living in the last 25,000 period of a 75,000 year cycle.  If we would choose to live as love, light and dedicate our energy toward service, we can eliminate much of the suffering that is showing its face on our precious earth.  Some of us have been given visions of what will happen.  I have in the past chosen to be silent except for rare occasions.  I do believe that there are those of us who can alleviate much of what is predicted if we step out of denial.  This is what I am doing right now by sharing feelings with you.  We who have gifts of the spirit must use the gifts for the protection and the good of others.  I have often written about how I feel humanity is ready for a higher evolutionary step.  We can actually achieve the next step by remembering our true identity as spirit in form, be firm in our understanding and bring in more light and love into every day relationships and situations whether they be global or personal.

IS THERE A SECRET TO HEALING?

A good example of the simple conclusions that I understand regarding the subject of healing involve a readiness, deep faith, a sense of self-worth and unconditional love.    A good example:  A friend, his wife and son made an hours’ drive to our home one Sunday afternoon.  We had planned to visit a local outdoor art show.  When my family walked out to his car, the husband was slumped backward in the rear seat of the car.  His wife had driven.  I opened his door and asked him about his discomfort.  He painfully explained that he had a spine condition that periodically would cause him such pain that he couldn't sit or stand.  The only reason that his wife agreed to drive him the distance was his belief that if I touched him he would be healed.  Our friend is not a Christian, nor am I a member of any organized church.  We simply have a strong faith, love and trust in our hearts.

I asked Sandy if he could possibly sit up a bit with his back toward me and I would remain standing right outside the door but yet close enough to lay my hands on him.  Perhaps, five minutes elapsed and our dear friend turned around and demanded whether I had hypnotized him.  I asked him why in the world he would think that I had hypnotized him.  He was magically healed.  Sandy assumed that I had to have done something unusual besides the working of his deep faith in being healed and my role as a healing catalyst.  Healers are catalysts.  We are givers of hope, healing and infinite possibilities.  Whether the receivers are fully open to embrace the energy is totally related to individual readiness to accept wholeness.  Our friend obviously was ready, had an unwavering faith and desired to honor himself so he could live a quality life free of fear of a reoccurring and disabling attack.  Instant healing appears to be the exception rather than the rule because too many humans are riddled with subconscious distortions as well as conscious erroneous beliefs.  We are unconditionally loved by Source.  The ‘catch’ is not everyone loves or honors themselves.  Once we genuinely accept love/light/service are the prime ingredients for our peace and happiness, we give ourselves an opportunity to be transformed and live as true children of God.

Truth is right in front of us.  Actually, it is quite simple.  Degrees are not required, nor lectures, gurus or workshops.  They may support our journey but are not the inner science that can be proven over and over again.  The science I am referring to is the science of understanding...unconditional love for self, others, all life, earth and our Creator~

TRUTH WITHOUT PROOF

I have had firsthand proof strongly impact me all my life in the areas of consciousness and the many levels of being. Scripture states  "For it is by faith that we walk and not by sight."  You cannot help but admire people who believe yet continue to suffer without experiencing proof of their faith. Evidently, somewhere in my journey I began to consciously experience the mystery. There have been countless examples where I have proven what an understanding consciousness can actually achieve.  For example, a stranger living in my city unexpectedly called me one night asking that I come immediately to her home and heal her uncle who was visiting.  The elderly gentleman was expected to lead a weekend workshop in the study of human consciousness.  I did not know the man, nor his name or anything about him or how his relative found out how to contact me. 

I immediately went to the indicated location and was led to a man reclining in bed.  It wasn't until later that I discovered that he was an American physician/scientist/author/lecturer and a leading pioneer in the study of human consciousness. He was also a man shrouded in mystery.  All I knew was that I received a call to help and that is exactly what I did.  The home he was visiting for the weekend was already filled with people who had paid to attend his workshop.  All I remember being told is that the 'patient' felt as if he had been poisoned and was too weak to offer his workshop. The man staring at me in bed never said a word and neither did I. Later, I learned that the gentleman was famous and also had traveled all over the world studying 'healers' for scientific purposes.

Why do I mention this particular example of faith?  Both the giver and receiver understood that the real magic is the art of strengthening and demonstrating that thread of inner strength within.  There are many now who are ready to consciously live their inner environment of faith.  Evolution is both physical and metaphysical, not only of the body but also of the spirit.  Although science has not typically recognized enough dimensions, this is slowly changing. Souls who grasp the important concept of reincarnation understand how an individual continues to evolve through numerous and varied experiences.  Not only is there life after death, there is life prior to birth.  Accept and understand this truth and realize that we are in the body to advance the evolution of mankind.  Egyptian priests understood the concept of a continuing life and that the consciousness of an individual continued to live was true as does two-thirds of the world's population accept an ongoing existence in one form or another.  Although the Judea-Christian culture are not as open about this truth, scripture has references to Paul in the Epistles writing about the difference between the human body and the spiritual body. There are other references that have not been removed by manipulative authority figures.

Life can be magical if we consciously interiorize experience by accepting responsibility for all that occurs.  Faith increases our vibration.  Meditation, deep thought, unity and a desire for spiritual awareness raises our vibration.  Understanding comes from within.  Service, authentic love and brotherhood is a must.  Although  humanity has become very shortsighted and for the most part has lost the awareness that is rightfully ours, there are millions of us ready to step forward in faith through our desire to understand the Creator's plan, receive it and live it. Why not give up the illusion and allow yourself to be easily healed just as the example of the stranger mentioned who trusted and had faith?  All there really is is love.  Authentic love provides proof.  Also, service to others is service to one's self.  This is truth~

WHOEVER KNOWS THE MYSTERY OF VIBRATIONS KNOWS ALL THINGS...

All existing things we see or hear, which we perceive, vibrate.  It is not always common for people to pay close attention to the energy of their thoughts, speech or the action they take.  We have an amazing power available to us.  That power is the higher vibrations of miracle changing opportunities. As long as I can remember, marvels and miracles have occurred spontaneously in my life.  I am enjoying writing this blog because it is a golden opportunity to go back and retrace moments of love that arrived periodically as a burst of light and revelation.

One of the most endearing experiences occurred when our third baby had just learned to crawl.  At the time, we lived in a two-story Colonial Home.  The staircase was steep.  Why I ever allowed him to crawl in the upstairs hallway is beyond me.  Perhaps, it was to forcefully learn the power of the word.

I had briefly turned my back and I unexpectedly heard a thump, thump, thump.  Quickly turning around, I realized the baby had crawled suddenly to the top of the staircase and had fallen over the top step and was quickly falling.  There wasn’t time for reasoning.  What I did was fling my arm out in front of me and commanded “NO!”  It was startling to see his little body stop falling and instead hovering in the air above the third descending step.  Yes, he was being held in the space above the steps securely and safely by an unseen source.  I ran quickly down the few steps and lifted him into the security of my arms.  He didn’t cry.  In fact, he was unharmed and being a baby oblivious to the drama that had unexpectedly occurred.

This story raises several questions.  Are there always angels hovering nearby to help when we have a challenge? Would the end result have been the same if I had not used a command to help him? Or, does our love for others create a miraculous environment?  Is such a simple experience demonstrating the power of a single thought or words have much more significance than we realize?   I have been in similar situations and used the same command resulting in preventing car accidents and much more.  Sometimes, a name of God is said with authority.

The inward and essential part of every being is composed of fine vibrations and the external part is formed of gross ones.  Every energetic thought sent out is received and returns in kind.  A thought is a tremendous power that can be used for good purposes or evil.  

Miracles did not cease with the close of the Biblical era.  Access to God, our Source, and Creator always remains.  The more we believe and accept the presence and power of God as our reality and deliberately use the mind for the good the greater will be our experience on earth.

   

 

 

 

 

 

LOVE MOVES AS GRACE

A new friend, a woman in her sixties, brought to my attention that she has lived in serious pain for most of her life.  When she was seventeen, she experienced a devastating farm accident.  Her spine was so badly damaged that surgery at that time was risky and she was informed that she could end up in a wheelchair.  She chose to live a life in pain. 

I listened to her story and asked for inner guidance.  An image of her as a Chinese man who had unmercifully beat the back of a serf crippling him flashed in front of me. Not knowing whether the woman believed in past lives really didn’t make a difference.  I simply told her that she had a very ancient memory in her subconscious that required forgiveness from her.  Memory is a judge, a sentence, and a jailer.  The reality of what she had inflicted on someone else was the cause of her constant suffering this life experience.

Without mentioning details, I simply suggested she go alone to her room, pray and forgive herself even though she had no conscious recollection of the cause.  She believed me.  It was that simple.  She accepted with trust what I shared and was free of the excruciating pain that was a daily part of her life for forty-five years.  The spontaneous healing occurred when she was sixty-two.  The beautiful woman continued to live to the age of one hundred and six remaining healthy and free of pain.

ANGELS ARE MESSENGERS WHO OFTEN WHISPER IN OUR EAR

Love often speaks as an intuitive thought.  Many times in moments of need, an angelic Voice will whisper in our ear what is needed in a given situation.  When this happens, discernment definitely helps.  We don’t want wishful thinking to rule the moment.  If words of authority unexpectedly come to mind, let them flow freely.  It is then our choice as to whether we convey the message to the one in need.

There will be times when you feel awkward by the contents of the message.  It may sound even unbelievable.  I simply trust and believe.  One striking example involved a friend and her husband.  She was emotionally sharing how her husband was gravely ill in the hospital.  They have two young boys.  Three different surgeries had already been performed before a pacemaker could function properly. 

Divine Love, an angel whispering, gave me a message of hope and encouragement for the young mother.  The words clearly stated that the children’s father would live for many years a vital and fruitful life.  The message stressed that she need not fear, but be patient and have faith for all would soon be well.  She was to trust and look past the frightening experience.  The message still rings true.  I always listen carefully and ask only for pure love to speak.  A message of hope was given.  It is a tremendous responsibility to relay such a powerful life and death statement.

An ironic twist to this story was the wife’s enthusiasm landed me a speaking opportunity at her church Adult Sunday School Class.  I happened to choose the subject of Light.  I know of twenty-one beautiful verses in the Bible that refer to the Light of God.

How was my talk received?  There was an uproar! A woman stood up pounding her Bible stating that the subject, Light, only held true for biblical days and not in today’s world.  The consciousness of the class was obviously divided. I felt sad for the wife whose faith had been strengthened and hope received through the angelic message.  She was filled with gratitude and only wanted to share her relief and happiness with others.  Someone on the staff made a recording of my talk and labeled it ‘non-Christian’. 

How did I respond?  When we are confident in our faith, the only response is equanimity, one of my favorite words. 

Psalm 119:105 your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path
